VisitElon Musk's X Rolls Out Private Likes Feature Starting Today
Jun 12, 2024, 01:17 PM
Elon Musk's social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, has officially begun rolling out a new feature that makes users' likes private starting today. Users will no longer be able to see who liked someone else's posts by default, although they will still be able to see their own liked posts. The like count and other metrics for users' own posts will continue to appear under notifications. This change, which was already an option for X’s Premium subscribers, is aimed at allowing users to like content without fear of judgment or backlash. Musk emphasized the importance of this feature in protecting users from attacks based on their likes.
