Mumbai Immerses Over 62,000 Ganesh Idols, Including 38,094 in Artificial Tanks

Mumbai civic bodies have introduced innovative methods for the immersion of Ganesh idols, including conveyors and doorstep collection. Over 62,000 idols were immersed on the second day of the Ganesh festival in various water bodies, with a significant number of immersions taking place in artificial tanks. By late evening on Sunday, more than 10,000 idols had already been immersed. A total of 38,094 idols were immersed in Mumbai, half of which were in artificial tanks.
