Chinese self-driving startup Pony.ai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Luxembourg's transport firm Emile Weber to promote autonomous mobility in the country. The agreement, facilitated through Pony.ai's European unit, aims to advance the research, development, and deployment of autonomous driving vehicles and technologies. As part of this initiative, Pony.ai has opened a new R&D hub in Luxembourg, marking a significant step in its European expansion. The collaboration will focus on integrating autonomous mobility solutions within Luxembourg's transportation infrastructure. Emile Weber, a ride-hailing firm, will work closely with Pony.ai to achieve these goals.
