Hezbollah Allegedly Storing 547 Missiles at Beirut's Rafic Hariri Airport, Lebanese Officials Deny Claims
Jun 24, 2024, 09:14 AM
The Telegraph has reported that Hezbollah is storing a significant cache of Iranian weapons, including missiles and explosives, at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport. According to whistleblowers, the cache includes Falaq rockets, Fateh-110 missiles, M-600 missiles, Cornet anti-tank missiles, Burkhan ballistic missiles, 547 missiles, and chemical explosives. Lebanese officials, including the Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamieh, have vehemently denied these claims, calling them outright lies and announcing plans to sue The Telegraph. An airport source indicated that the arms were shipped on direct flights from Iran. In an attempt to disprove the allegations, Lebanese authorities organized a tour of the airport for journalists and diplomats. However, reporters were barred from entering the cargo area, raising further suspicions about the presence of weapons at the facility.
