IAF Aircraft with Mortal Remains of 45 Indians from Kuwait Fire Lands in Kerala, Death Toll Rises to 50

A special Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft carrying the mortal remains of 45 Indian victims from the fire incident in Kuwait has landed at Cochin International Airport in Kerala. The repatriation was coordinated by Minister of State Kirti Vardhan Singh, who was onboard the aircraft. Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, along with other state officials including Kerala Revenue Minister K. Rajan and Union Minister Suresh Gopi, were present at the airport to receive the remains. The aircraft was expected to arrive at 11 AM on June 14, and its arrival marks a significant step in the swift repatriation efforts following the tragic fire incident in Kuwait. The death toll from the incident has risen to 50.
