At 8:45 AM on November 9, 2024, a powerful suicide bombing occurred at Quetta railway station in Balochistan, Pakistan, killing at least 24 people and injuring over 53. The attack targeted Pakistani army personnel from the Infantry School as they were preparing to depart on the Jaffer Express train to Peshawar. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), through its Majeed Brigade, claimed responsibility for the 'fidayeen' attack on the Pakistani army unit.
