Syrian air defenses have intercepted and shot down two drones over the capital city of Damascus, according to a military source in the Ministry of Defense. The incident occurred as part of an effort to counter hostile aircraft in Syrian airspace. There were no reported casualties or material damage from the drone interceptions. The Syrian regime's air defenses were also reported to be attempting to intercept unidentified kamikaze drones in the area.
