IDF Destroys Large Underground Hamas Weapons Plant in Zeitoun, Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the discovery and demolition of a large underground Hamas weapons manufacturing plant in the central Gaza Strip. The facility, located within a tunnel network near the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, was found to contain lathes, hundreds of components used to build rockets, mortars, grenades, and diving equipment. Troops from the 252nd Division and the 5th Brigade were involved in the operation. The tunnel route was situated beneath civilian residences, highlighting the challenges faced in such military operations. The military announced the operation on Saturday evening.
