Trade-tracking data reveals that Shreya Life Sciences, a Mumbai-based drugmaker, has been exporting Dell servers equipped with powerful Nvidia and AMD chips to Russia. This activity, which took place from April to August 2024, highlights significant gaps in western government efforts to restrict Moscow's access to technology with potential military applications. Specifically, Shreya Life Sciences exported over 1,100 units of Dell’s most advanced servers, known as PowerEdge XE9680, which are optimized for AI and could be used for military purposes.
