The United States has completed a $9 billion upgrade of the B61-12 nuclear warhead, marking a crucial milestone in its nuclear arsenal modernization efforts. Pantex, the facility responsible for the project, announced the completion of the last production unit modification of the B61-12, concluding nearly a decade of work aimed at extending the life of this critical system.
