Putin Warns of Responses if NATO Allows Ukraine Long-Range Strikes on Russia
Oct 27, 2024, 09:31 AM
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia's military is considering several responses to NATO's decision to allow Ukraine to strike deep into Russian territory with long-range missiles. Putin argued that Ukraine lacks the capability for such attacks independently and implied that NATO would be directly involved if such strikes occurred. He emphasized that Moscow is developing various ways to respond should the United States and its NATO allies assist Ukraine in using long-range Western weapons against Russia. Putin also expressed hope that the West had understood his warnings about the danger of a direct conflict with NATO. Russia's defense ministry is actively working on these potential responses to deep strikes.
