Palestinian journalist Hassan Hamad was killed along with his family in an Israeli military airstrike on his home in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. The attack occurred last night, according to local reports. Hamad's death brings the total number of journalists and media workers killed since the onset of Israel's war on Gaza to 176, highlighting the increasing dangers faced by media personnel in the region. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) stated that at least 128 journalists and media workers, all Palestinian except five, have been killed since the conflict began. Footage captured by Hamad before his death was retrieved, emphasizing the perilous conditions under which journalists operate.
