Apr 17, 2024, 04:45 PM
The U.S. Justice Department has agreed to pay approximately $100 million to 100 victims of former national women's gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar. This settlement, currently in the final stages of negotiation, aims to resolve claims that the FBI failed to investigate allegations of Nassar's abuse. Simone Biles was among the hundreds of women who came forward in 2018 as victims.
