Disney+ Cancels 'The Acolyte' After One Season
Aug 19, 2024, 11:21 PM
Disney+ has decided not to renew 'The Acolyte,' a live-action Star Wars series, for a second season. The series, which starred Amandla Stenberg and was directed by Leslye Headland, depicted the rise of the Sith approximately 100 years before 'Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.' The decision to cancel the show comes after its first season, with Lucasfilm opting not to continue the story.
