NSAC Withholds $5K from Lopes, $31.6K from Tsarukyan After UFC 300 Incidents
Apr 30, 2024, 04:24 PM
Diego Lopes and Arman Tsarukyan, both participants in UFC 300, are facing disciplinary actions by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC). Lopes, who won $100,000, had $5,000 withheld for jumping into the crowd after his victory, despite seemingly having permission from UFC CEO Dana White, who offered to pay the fine. Tsarukyan, who earned $158,000, had $31,600 withheld due to a pre-fight altercation with a fan. Both incidents have led to scheduled hearings at the NSAC's next monthly commission meeting, with a full disciplinary hearing set for the following month.
