President-elect Donald Trump has issued a scathing critique of the United States, labeling it a 'disaster' and a 'laughing stock' globally, in response to recent violent incidents. Trump attributes the country's current state to 'open borders' and 'weak, ineffective, and virtually nonexistent leadership' under President Joe Biden. He specifically criticized the Department of Justice, FBI, and Democrat state and local prosecutors for failing to protect Americans from 'violent scum' and focusing instead on political attacks against him. Trump's comments come in the wake of a deadly truck attack in New Orleans, which killed at least 15 people, and an explosion involving a Tesla Cybertruck outside his Las Vegas hotel, which resulted in one death and seven injuries.
