Trump Cabinet Nominees and Families Targeted with Violent Bomb Threats and Swatting
Nov 27, 2024, 04:58 PM
Several of President-elect Donald Trump's Cabinet nominees and administration appointees have been targeted with violent threats, including bomb threats and swatting incidents, according to Trump's transition team spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt on Wednesday. The threats occurred on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, involving 'violent, un-American threats to their lives and those who live with them,' Leavitt said. She stated that 'these attacks ranged from bomb threats to swatting.' Law enforcement authorities responded swiftly to ensure the safety of those targeted and their families. The transition team condemned the threats and vowed that acts of intimidation and violence would not deter them.
