Ukraine Signs €27B Loan Deal with EU, Receives €1.9B Tranche; Set to Get 50B Euros in 4 Years

Ukraine has signed a €27 billion loan agreement with the EU under the Ukraine Facility program. Since the start of the full-scale war, Ukraine has received €35 billion in direct budgetary assistance from the EU. The EU disbursed another €1.9 billion, bringing the total budget support from the EU to nearly €8 billion this year. Ukraine is set to receive a total of 50 billion euros over four years, with allocations for budget support, investment fund, and technical and administrative support.
