VisitAmazon Invests $9B (SG$12B) in Singapore Cloud, Adds 12K Jobs Annually by 2028

Amazon has announced a significant investment plan, committing $9 billion (SG$12B) over the next four years to expand its cloud computing infrastructure in Singapore. This expansion aims to meet increasing demands for cloud and AI services. The investment is expected to support over 12,000 jobs annually and contribute approximately $17.6 billion (SG$23.7B) to Singapore's GDP by 2028. Additionally, Amazon's AWS division has also unveiled plans for a new flagship AI project as part of this initiative.
