VisitDon Lemon Leaves X After 16 Years, Citing Terms of Service Changes
Nov 13, 2024, 03:16 PM
Don Lemon, the former CNN anchor, has announced his departure from X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, after 16 years. In his official statement, Lemon said, "I have loved connecting with all of you on Twitter and then on X for all of these years, but it's time for me to leave the platform." He cited changes in X's Terms of Service, including a provision that disputes against X will be handled by courts in Texas, as reasons for his decision. His departure follows the collapse of an exclusive deal with the platform months earlier.
