Displaying remarkable mobility despite the injury, Mahomes rushed for a 15-yard touchdown during the Chiefs' opening drive, the longest rushing touchdown of his career. He accumulated 27 rushing yards on the drive, contributing 64 of the 66 yards gained during the 11-play, 6:26 possession that led to an early 7-0 lead. Mahomes’ 27 rushing yards on the opening drive were the second-most on an opening drive in his career.
