EU Demands Musk's X Freeze Data as Algorithm Probe Widens

The European Union has expanded its investigation into Elon Musk's social media platform X, demanding that the company freeze and store relevant data and provide internal documents related to its algorithms, recommendation systems, and content moderation practices. The European Commission, which initiated the investigation in November 2023, has set a deadline of February 15 for X to comply with the requests.
