President-elect Donald Trump has expressed support for the H-1B visa program for highly skilled foreign workers, aligning with tech billionaire Elon Musk in a debate that is causing a rift within his conservative base. In an interview with the New York Post on Saturday, Trump stated, "I've always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That's why we have them. I have many H-1B visas on my properties. I've been a believer in H-1B. I have used it many times. It's a great program." His comments come amid a 'MAGA civil war' over the issue, with some supporters opposing the program. Musk, who previously held an H-1B visa himself, has vowed to "go to war" to defend it.
