Ukrainian forces have conducted targeted strikes against Russian military assets in Luhansk Oblast, utilizing both aerial reconnaissance and drone technology. A Ukrainian reconnaissance drone identified a Russian BUK air defense system approximately 20 kilometers behind the frontline, leading to a precision strike by a HIMARS rocket system from the 45th Artillery Brigade. This operation successfully targeted the Russian 9K37 Buk-M Air Defense System in Svatove, although reports indicate that the strike may have missed its intended target. Additionally, Ukrainian FPV drones executed successful strikes on Russian BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, resulting in significant destruction. One strike caused a catastrophic ammunition detonation, with debris reportedly thrown over 400 feet (125 meters).
