Ukraine has received a significant financial boost from the World Bank, securing a $4.8 billion loan under the Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance (PEACE) project. This infusion of funds, announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, marks the largest investment project in the World Bank's history. The loan aims to support social expenditures, including reforms in education, healthcare, agriculture, and reconstruction efforts. Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, nearly $50 billion has been mobilized through the World Bank to aid Ukraine. Additionally, Ukraine is on track to achieve 400 key reform goals by the end of the year, showcasing the country's commitment to progress despite ongoing conflict.
