Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, during his visit to Damascus, announced that Ukraine is ready to assist the new Syrian administration in several areas, including the collection of evidence and investigation of crimes committed by the former Assad regime and Russia. Sybiha emphasized that both Russia and the Assad regime are partners in committing atrocities in Syria. Additionally, Ukraine has pledged to support Syria's food security by sending more food aid shipments, with an initial delivery of 500 tons of flour scheduled to arrive in Syria the following day via over two dozen trucks. This aid is part of Ukraine's broader commitment to help Syria recover stability and food security, following President Zelensky's message of support to al-Sharaa.
