Former U.S. President Donald Trump has called for an immediate ceasefire and negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, suggesting that China could assist in the talks. He claimed that Ukraine has lost 400,000 soldiers and is seeking a deal. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to Trump's statement after meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. He disclosed that Ukraine has lost 43,000 soldiers with 370,000 wounded since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. Zelenskyy reported that Russian losses exceed 750,000 personnel, including 198,000 killed and more than 550,000 wounded. He emphasized that any peace agreement must ensure lasting peace.
