Tripura Receives ₹5 Crore Flood Relief from Assam, PM Modi Sanctions Ex-Gratia

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sanctioned ex-gratia relief from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for those affected by recent floods in Tripura. The relief includes ₹2 lakh for the next of kin of those who lost their lives and ₹50,000 for those seriously injured. In addition, the Assam government, led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, has contributed ₹5 crore towards relief efforts in Tripura. The donation was presented by Assam's Minister of Tourism, Jayanta Malla Baruah, to Tripura CM Manik Saha at his official residence in Agartala. CM Saha expressed his gratitude for the assistance.
