Travis Scott's 'Days Before Rodeo' Debuts at No. 2 on Billboard 200 with 361,000 Units, Sabrina Carpenter Tops
Sep 3, 2024, 04:26 PM
Travis Scott's 'Days Before Rodeo' officially debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, selling 361,000 first-week units. The album recorded 40.63 million on-demand streams and 331,000 pure sales. Despite earlier reports suggesting it would debut at No. 1, 'Days Before Rodeo' was narrowly beaten by Sabrina Carpenter's 'Short N' Sweet,' which sold 362,000 units. This marks the biggest debut for a rap album in 2024, surpassing Eminem and setting a new pure sales record for rap albums this decade. Additionally, 'Days Before Rodeo' ties with Nicki Minaj’s 'Beam Me Up Scotty' for the highest-charting re-released mixtape by a rapper. It becomes Scott's fifth top 3 project.
