Arbitrum One Achieves Record ETH Holdings and Transaction Volumes

Arbitrum One, a leading Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, has recently achieved several significant milestones. As of April 28, Arbitrum One reported an all-time high (ATH) of $5.2 billion worth of Ethereum (ETH) held, totaling 1.74 million ETH, surpassing the combined balances of all other Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible chains. This platform now accounts for 75% of all ETH deposits from centralized exchanges. Additionally, Arbitrum One's wallet transactions have increased by 85% since January 2, and daily active wallets have doubled. On May 2, the network experienced a peak in daily transactions, up 50% since the start of the year. Furthermore, the total amount of Ethereum within Layer 2 networks has reached a new ATH of 12.71 million ETH, valued over $37 billion, representing more than 10% of the entire Ether supply. Arbitrum has also become the first Layer 2 network to surpass $150 billion in swap volume on Uniswap.
