Emmer, who also serves as the GOP Majority Whip and was the third-highest vote-getter for Speaker, expressed his honor at the appointment and highlighted the opportunity to shape the future of digital assets under the Trump administration. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that digital assets are guided by American values, especially with the departure of Gary Gensler from a prominent regulatory position.
