New polling data shows Republican Tim Sheehy leading incumbent Senator Jon Tester in the Montana Senate race, a critical contest for control of the U.S. Senate. According to a poll conducted by FabrizioWard and Binder Research for AARP, Sheehy has 51% support compared to Tester's 45% in a head-to-head matchup. On the full ballot, which includes Libertarian and Green Party candidates, Sheehy leads with 49% to Tester's 41%, with Daoud at 4% and Downey at 1%. Former President Donald Trump, who won Montana by 16% in 2020, has endorsed Sheehy, a businessman and former Navy SEAL.
