Israeli security forces have launched a major operation in Eilat, Israel’s southernmost city, following reports of a possible terror attack. Roadblocks have been set up, and police in armored vehicles are patrolling the city. The Israeli police have raised the alert level and deployed a large number of forces and helicopters in response to reports of armed individuals potentially infiltrating from Jordan.
