A tourist boat carrying 45 people, including 31 tourists of various nationalities and 14 crew members, sank off the coast of Marsa Alam in the Red Sea. Egyptian authorities have launched an intensive search and rescue operation. Sixteen survivors have been rescued so far, and efforts continue to locate the remaining missing passengers. The vessel, reportedly named Sea Story, was on a diving trip when it sank. Red Sea Governor Amr Hanafi confirmed the ongoing rescue efforts in coordination with the navy and armed forces.
