Jul 18, 2024, 12:53 AM
J. Michael Cline, the 64-year-old founder of Fandango, died after jumping from the 20th floor of The Kimberly Hotel in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday morning. Cline, who was a finance executive and entrepreneur, co-founded Fandango in 2000 and remained with the company until 2011. His death has been ruled an apparent suicide. Sources indicate that Cline left a note before jumping. The pandemic had significantly impacted his movie-ticketing business. He landed in a third-floor courtyard.
