Muslim Canadian Citizen Neutralized After Attempted Stabbing Attack in Netiv HaAsara

A Canadian citizen attempted a stabbing attack at the entrance to the Gaza border community of Netiv HaAsara on Monday. The assailant, who arrived in Israel recently, shouted about a 'massacre in Gaza' before brandishing a knife and attempting to stab Israeli soldiers. The attacker, identified as a Muslim, was neutralized by the community readiness force, and no physical injuries were reported among the soldiers or civilians. One 61-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for panic. The incident occurred near the site of a previous attack on October 7th, which resulted in the deaths of 21 people.
