Tether, TRON, and TRM Labs have announced the establishment of the T3 Financial Crime Unit, a collaborative effort aimed at combating illicit activities associated with the use of USDT on the TRON blockchain. This initiative marks the first-ever private sector financial crime unit dedicated to addressing crypto crime. The collaboration, which has been active for several weeks, involves close cooperation with law enforcement agencies. According to a report today, major L1 ecosystem TRON has teamed up with USDT issuer Tether. Justin Sun, founder of TRON, emphasized the goal of creating a safer and more secure crypto community. Paolo Ardoino of Tether highlighted the importance of USDT as a digital dollar for emerging markets and the company's commitment to supporting safety initiatives.
