Washington Commanders Fire VP Rael Enteen Over Disparaging Remarks About Players, Fans in Undercover Video
Sep 5, 2024, 01:18 AM
The Washington Commanders have fired Vice President of Content Rael Enteen following the release of an undercover video in which he made disparaging comments about NFL players, fans, and executives. The video, published by O'Keefe Media Group, showed Enteen labeling black Commanders players as 'homophobic,' calling NFL players 'dumb as all hell,' and describing fans as 'mouth breathers' and 'high school educated alcoholics.' Enteen also criticized NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. He claimed that a significant portion of Commanders players are from low-income African American communities and that 50% of the roster is white and Christian, making them anti-LGBTQIA+. The Commanders initially suspended Enteen pending an internal investigation but decided to terminate his employment after further review.
