This comes in the context of recent actions by the U.S. Supreme Court upholding a federal law that bans TikTok unless it is sold by its China-based parent company, ByteDance. Amid these developments, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has indicated he might consider a 90-day reprieve on the ban after taking office.
