The U.S. State Department has confirmed that North Korean troops have begun engaging in combat operations alongside Russian forces in Russia's Kursk region, participating in the conflict against Ukraine. Vedant Patel, Deputy Head of the State Department's Press Service, reported that approximately 10,000 North Korean soldiers have been deployed to support Russian forces, primarily stationed in Kursk Oblast, where they are actively involved in combat.
