The US State Department has approved a potential $2 billion arms sale to Taiwan, including advanced defense systems and radar equipment. The package comprises three National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) units, three AN/MPQ-64F1 Sentinel radars, 123 AMRAAM-ER missiles, and associated equipment and services.
