Russian Man Confesses to North Moscow Car Bombing, Claims Ukrainian Intelligence Involvement, Promised $10,000-$20,000
Jul 26, 2024, 07:29 AM
Yevgeny Serebryakov, a Russian national, has confessed to planting an explosive device under a car in the north of Moscow, targeting a Russian military officer. Serebryakov stated that he began collaborating with the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) in February 2023 on his own initiative. He was reportedly promised between $10,000 and $20,000 for the murder of the officer. The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has released footage of Serebryakov's extradition and his confession, where he detailed the involvement of Ukrainian intelligence in the operation. It is also suggested that the attackers may have confused two people in the plot.
