A Texas woman has been formally indicted by a grand jury for attempting to drown a three-year-old Palestinian-American Muslim girl in May. The incident, which took place in Tarrant County, is being described by local police as a hate crime motivated by racial bias. The woman, from Euless, also allegedly hurt the girl's brother during the incident. The indictment was issued on August 15. The woman was reportedly drunk during the incident.
