Kamala Harris Accepts CNN Invitation for Second Presidential Debate with Trump on October 23 in Atlanta
Sep 21, 2024, 05:09 PM
Vice President Kamala Harris has accepted an invitation from CNN for a second presidential debate with former President Donald Trump. The debate is scheduled to take place on October 23 in Atlanta, Georgia, at 9 pm ET. Harris' campaign, led by Chair Jen O’Malley Dillon, has urged Trump to participate, but he has yet to respond. Trump previously stated that he would not commit to another debate following their earlier confrontation. The upcoming debate will follow the same format and setup as the CNN debate held in June, which Trump claimed he won. Harris had earlier declined a debate invitation from Fox News.
