Steelers' T.J. Watt Records 100th Sack in 109 Games, Second-Fastest After Reggie White
Oct 7, 2024, 02:31 AM
Pittsburgh Steelers' linebacker T.J. Watt recorded his 100th career sack during the Sunday night game against the Dallas Cowboys. Watt, who needed half a sack to reach the milestone, achieved it in 109 games, making him the second-fastest player to reach 100 sacks since the statistic became official in 1982, behind Reggie White, who did so in 96 games. The milestone came on a strip-sack of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott in the red zone, which Watt shared with teammate Nick Herbig. Watt is one of only three players to reach 100 sacks before turning 30 years old; his 30th birthday is on October 11.
