The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Travis Konecny to an eight-year, $70 million contract extension. The deal, which carries an average annual value (AAV) of $8.75 million, secures the 27-year-old player through the 2032-33 season. Konecny, who has one year remaining on his current contract with a $5.5 million AAV, is the leading scorer for the Flyers. This extension is one of the largest in the franchise's history and will begin in the 2025-26 season. His $8.75 million cap hit ranks 38th in the league.
