Despite Egypt's claims of being unaware of these tunnels, the IDF has found dozens, including at least 25 that crossed into Egypt. The tunnels have been used for smuggling weapons, including rifles, rockets, and rocket launchers, into Gaza. The tunnel network extends from Rafah into the Sinai Peninsula and was used in the October 7 Massacre.
