Remedy and Annapurna Partner for Control 2, Alan Wake Film and TV Expansion
Aug 29, 2024, 04:43 PM
Remedy Entertainment has announced a strategic partnership with Annapurna to co-finance the development of Control 2, with Annapurna covering 50% of the development budget. This agreement will also see Annapurna acquiring the rights to adapt the Control and Alan Wake franchises into films and television series. Remedy will retain the intellectual property rights to the series while receiving a greater revenue share from game sales post-launch. This collaboration marks a significant step for Remedy as it moves towards self-publishing Control 2, allowing the company to maintain creative independence while expanding its franchises into new media formats.
