A man was arrested in Tokyo early Saturday morning after throwing five or six Molotov cocktails at the headquarters of Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and attempting to ram his vehicle into the fence outside the Prime Minister's office. The Molotov cocktails struck a police riot vehicle but caused no injuries. Police and firefighters responded promptly to the incident, and the suspect, believed to be in his 40s, is currently in custody. The motive behind the attack is not yet known.
