Journalist Adejuwon Soyinka Arrested by DSS in Lagos, Passport Seized

Adejuwon Soyinka, an investigative journalist and Regional Editor of The Conversation Africa, was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) at Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Sunday. This arrest follows recent #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests, during which law enforcement actions have raised concerns about press freedom. Although Soyinka has been released, his passport remains seized by the DSS.
